When it comes to your particular case, you have not indicated the condition of the body and interior. Those two are the most expensive to "repair" (that is; make look good). Mechanical problems are easy, simple and far less expensive. $10,000 spent on driveline will go a long way compared to $10,000 on body and interior. Aftermarket resurfacing costs a lot, in order for it to look good. Now if you are not mechanically inclined.., and require the help of others, then.., perhaps a non-running Z is not for you.
